This website and it's owners take a proactive approach to user privacy and ensure the necessary steps are taken to protect the privacy of its users throughout their visiting experience. This website comply's to all UK national laws and requirements for user privacy.

Order Process & Cancellation

When your order is processed you will receive a confirmation email with details of what has been ordered, together with a copy of an invoice for your purchase. We recommend that you check the email and ensure that it is correct. We endeavour to process orders in accordance with your chosen dispatch timescale, however in most circumstances your order will be dispatched  sooner.

As we offer a customised product service with a lot of our products it is important that you notify us of any errors or intentions to cancel as a matter of urgency.

• If we are producing a custom design service, that being we are creating a design on your behalf in its entirety, then we can accept cancellations up until the point we have received approval of our work, after which the badges may already have gone into the production process.
• If you have chosen a design on our website that requires personalisation/modification, then we can accept a cancellation until we have progressed your order to print.
• All other orders cancellation will be accepted up until the point of production. To cancel your order you may call us on 0800 043 8060 or email hello@thebadgecentre.co.uk - You may also use our contact form for cancellation. There is no penalty for cancelling your order. We process cancellations on the same working day of receipt.

In the event of faulty product or a product that have been produced incorrectly, we will either issue a refund or replacement, subject to your agreement and preference. In the event of you choosing to cancel your order because of faulty or an error on our part, we will issue a full refund without any penalty. Please note that we may need to see faulty items for the purpose of clarification.

Delays and matters outside of our Control

We cannot be held liable for delays regarding delivery that are due to events and occurrences that are outside of our control. We use Royal Mail to deliver the majority of our orders and our delivery estimates are just that, estimates, based on their advertised service level. Just like any normal letter, sometimes, outside of our control, there is a delay with you receiving your order. This is not a matter we can control and therefore we will not accept liability. It is the customers responsibility to ensure orders are placed in sufficient time for any required by date, allowing for potential third party delays. The only exception to this is where we have provided a 'guaranteed' delivery date to you, in which case we will course issue a full refund in the event the delivery not being made by the required guaranteed date. Needless to say, you are required to make yourself available to accept such a delivery.

Corona Virus [Covid-19] Addendum

We have taken steps to expedite as many orders as possible to minimise any disruption for our customers. This means that many order will leave sooner than selected, where possible and practical. It is important to note that as this is an ongoing and unprecedented time for the the country as a whole and the situation can change on a daily basis. Consequently it is likely or somewhat inevitable that at some point postal services may be subject to delays/shutdowns etc. Should this happen we refer to our Delays and matters outside of our control (above). If your badges are not custom, in the event they arrive too late for their intended purpose, we will accept returns and issue full refunds at our discretion and as a gesture of goodwill. We are unable to do this for custom orders at this stage.

Artwork/Images Provide Orders

We accept no liability for the quality or suitability of any images provided. By uploading an image or providing artwork you accept that the quality or suitability is suitable for it purpose.  It is important to note that RGB is intended for screen and CMYK is intended for print -  consequently there will be differences between the RGB and the CMYK printed version. All files should be provided in CMYK format. We do not offer Pantone colour matching. 

With regards to trademarks/copyright, by uploading a file you accept that you have the required permissions and authority to do so. By uploading a file/image you accept you have sufficient permissions to use the image provided for its intended purposes. Consequently, by doing so, you accept full responsibility for how we use your image, in accordance with you order. In the event we are subject to legal action as a result of your submission, which we accept on good faith, you fully accept liability and responsibility. In the event that we feel artwork/image(s)  provided breaches the rights ir IP of a third party we will cancel and refund any order placed,

Unless previously agreed, we require payment in full before an order can be processed. We accept credit/debit card and PayPal payments online via the secure checkout process or over the telephone. Credit / debit card payments will show on your statement as THEBADGECENTRE or an abbreviated version. There are no charges/admin fees levied based on your chosen payment method.

Delivery

We dispatch orders to the UK and Europe. Delivery is automatically calculated during checkout, at which point you can choose to choose from available services and dispatch options. Please note that with the exception of our Next Working Day Delivery option, our estimates are based on dispatch and not delivery due to the multiple stage process our customised products have to go through.
